NICOLE HAMMER

President

Nicole Hammer is a PhD candidate at Northcentral University for International Business and a double graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Master's in Higher Education and a Bachelor's in Social Work. She has worked with over 6 different campaigns, a Super PAC, and with a political consulting firm. Before moving to Volusia County, she was President of the Young Democrats of Seminole County and then was elected as President of Volusia County Young Democrats in 2023.

GAVIN COX

Vice President

Gavin is a youth activist and current president of the Daytona State College Democrats. He was elected at a special election in January 2024 and will serve until April 2024.

MATTHEW BURNETTE

Treasurer

If there's a job in Florida politics, Matt has done it. From managing a congressional campaign to running countywide field operations, he has proven an effective organizer and adept political mind. Matt most recently served as the Campaign Manager for Brandon Peters' impressive run for State House. He was elected Treasurer in 2021 and re-elected in 2022 and 2023.
